The beautiful acreage comprising the Whetstone Plantation are made up of a good combination of crop lands, pasture, and richly wooded timberlands. These elements provide substantial forage such as corn, wheat, oats, clover, and natural food sources such as honeysuckle and acorns for Whetstone's Trophy Deer population. Sound game management provides feed and mineral supplements to round out a productive diet.

To assure each hunter the best possible hunting experience, we limit reservations to 8-10 guest per day. We anticipate available dates to go quickly so it is probably a good idea to reserve your dates as soon as possible.
Guided Deer Hunting Season
Bow Season: Prices include: Arrangements can be made for
the purchase of in-state and out-of-state hunting licenses. Estimated cost of out-of-state hunting
licenses for a 3 day trip, $77.00. In order to hunt the trophy area you must book a two day hunt. An advance deposit
totaling 50% of the total hunt cost is required. To ensure your hunt is
reserved, we request payment within 10 days of placing your reservation.
Deposits are non-refundable. Hunts will be confirmed by mail or phone
upon receipt of deposit. Balance is due on arrival. Check-in time is 1:00 p.m. on the day of arrival
and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. 'One Day-Only' hunts may check in early
on the morning of the hunt and check out at sundown the same afternoon. *Rate for non-hunter quest
per day $150.00. Transportation: Montgomery Dannelly Field (40 miles S.E. of
Plantation)
